The honeymoon period is over and everything is starting to settle. This is my life now.
This morning I was walking to my bus stop and when I looked up, there was this early morning sun shine gently floating on the Bosporus. The clouds were softly lit with pinks and greys. It was really breathtaking and my heart just sang as I marveled at the fact that this is my home. At the same time, I had to hold back tears this afternoon as I thought about my family and friends and how much I just miss them. It was like that as well last night.
As everything settles and I look around at the people I am sharing this experience with, I wonder… who will be my good friends in three months? In the television show called Claire’s Life, who is going to be a costar, or have a recurring role, maybe a guest appearances, or just an extra?
Glad you’re liking your life so much! It will be interesting to see who makes the cuts for the Istanbul Act :). Love you, Claire!
I enjoyed your anticipation about the future. It reminded me that life is full of adventures. Thanks for being on the cutting edge. Love you.
What a wonderful environment! The city sounds sooo beautiful — don’t worry, the rest will follow, just need a little more time!
You are an amazing person Claire! In a strange land and still optimistic and able to see the simple joys around you. I would be scared to death! lol
I so agree with all the comments posted by these people and you are so brave, optimistic, and adventurous. Keep us all posted on who makes the cut and what unfolds in the script, because it’s bound to be exciting (and funny!!!) Love you and miss you, Claire!
Thanks! Keep up the good work.
Jim
